Important:

If there has been malicious damage to your home, theft, attempted theft or lost items you must inform the police and obtain an incident number straight away.

 

Do not destroy any damaged items without our consent.

 

If you need to make emergency repairs to prevent damage, please take photographs before the work begins and retain any damaged items. 

 

How to contact us about a claim

If you wish to make a claim under your home insurance policy, the contact details will depend on the underwriter who provides your cover.  The numbers are shown on your policy documents and in the table below:

Our home insurance claims lines are open 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday with emergency assistance provided 24 hours a day for new claims. 

 

To make a claim on your home emergency insurance, please contact DAS on 0800 917 1644, lines are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

 

To make a claim on your legal expenses or identity fraud insurance, please check your latest policy start date.  If your policy started before 1st September 2010 please contact Lawshield on 0845 365 3045, lines open 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.  If your policy started on or after 1st September 2010 please contact Arc on 0844 770 1040, lines open 9am to 6pm. Monday to Friday.

 

To make a claim on your payment protection insurance, please call 0845 519 4971, lines are open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
