Ensuring your customer pays the right premium for their cover
We have worked hard with our household underwriters to provide competitive premiums across the country, but even with four quotes from our panel there are still occasions where our closest competitors beat our best price. We have therefore agreed with many of our underwriters that we will always beat the monthly premium quoted by the following competitors: - Paymentshield

To take advantage of this offer, quote with 3XD as normal and where necessary, overwrite the premium to match competitor price less the appropriate discount. The discounts are currently £1 per month for all providers except Paymentshield or Select & Protect. When price beating Paymentshield or Select & Protect the discount is currently £2 per month. When premium beating new business on the rate quoted on Paymentshield Freefirst, use the equivalent monthly price (deducting £2 per month) to compensate for the free cover period. The Premium Beating Guarantee is available for new business proposals and for existing customers who wish to move their cover. In addition, where a customer has received their renewal notice on these products, we will offer cover for a further 12 months at the price the customer is currently paying, less £1 or £2 per month as appropriate. All of our Premium Beating Guarantee policies are subject to a minimum premium of £5 per month. The policy will be underwritten be chosen randomly from those underwriters who support the facility.
