Insuring your hand held gadgets in and away from the home
This policy will protect your hand held gadgets up to a maximum value of £1,000 per claim and for a maximum 2 claims within any 12 month period. In addition, you can extend the cover to also include your mobile phone or PDA, if you do these are insured up to a maximum value of £400 and for a maximum 2 claims within any 12 month period. The items are then covered for the following risks: - Accidental Damage
- Accidental Loss of mobiles (excluding iPhones)
- Theft
- Breakdown
The policy offers cover anywhere in the United Kingdom and also offers worldwide cover for up to 60 days in any 12 month period. The gadgets that can be insured by this policy can be any of the following; satellite navigation unit, iPod, MP3 player, laptop, camera, portable DVD player, portable gaming consoles, tablet, iReader or LCD monitors.
