Protecting your belongings out of the home

You can extend your contents insurance to cover personal belongings you take away from your home. You can choose the amount you wish to insure, up to £10,000.

 

The items insured by this cover are:

  • luggage, clothing and furs;
  • mobile telephones;
  • spectacles;
  • musical instruments;
  • sports equipment;
  • pedal cycles;
  • guns;
  • money; and
  • other items of personal use which are specifically designed to be carried or worn about the person.

There are limitations to cover for certain items.
