All of our insurers share our commitment to long term business
We know that there's nothing more frustrating than selling a general insurance policy only to see it disappear 12 months later because of unreasonable price increases or the addition of new fees. That's why all of our insurers have agreed to maximum premium increases on policy renewal - sharing our commitment to providing long term customer satisfaction and protecting your long term income in the bargain. After all, it's far more expensive to get new customers that keep the ones you already have! The current maximum price increase for any individual customer is 5% of their existing monthly premium. However, as many customer see an increase in their entitlement to no claims discount on the policy renewals the actual increase can be less - and some customers even see their premiums going down. In addition, to match the current price promise at aymentshield we are also not imposing any price increases on renewal where a policy was previously matched to a Paymentshield premium. Our business is built on trust and integrity - so you can see for yourself, the table below shows our average rate increases for the last six months: | Month: | Average % Increase at annual review: | | August 2009 | 3.65% | | September 2009 | 2.29% | | October 2009 | 2.41% | | November 2009 | 3.37% | | December 2009 | 3.72% | | January 2010 | 3.91% | | February 2010 | 1.94% | | March 2010 | 2.65% | | April 2010 | 1.80% | The average price increase in April 2010 was £0.41 per month. We'll update this table each month when we prepare our renewal notices. In addition to this, we're so proud of our renewal premiums, we tell you in advance of sending the notice to the customer. If you've got customers with our competitors and you are seeing price increases, you can transfer the customer to 3XD and, if necessary, use our premium beating guarantee. With this you can not only waive the increase, but guarantee to knock off at least £12 from the price the customer is currently paying.
